Many reviews on the internet have introduced DEPTHY, a three-dimension viewer by applying a greyscale depth map— the brighter the farther, the darker the closer. You can use DEPTHY to create an animated GIF so the objects can repeatedly move horizontally, vertically or circularly. Meow is not going to show how to use it, but how to use it alternatively.
Meow has transferred most of files to OneDrive (of Microsoft 365 Family) due to Google’s recent limits— 100TB storage for one school from July 2022; no more unlimited high-quality pictures on Google Photos from 1 June 2021. Meow determined that some OneDrive folders are shared.

You can use the generator to create an animation like that.
According to the Dortania guide, before updating OpenCore to 0.6.6, you should set these in config.plist:
Then you have to reset NVRAM on your OpenCore menu. You have to press the Space key to show the option, or set
False in config.plist.
After booting to macOS again, update OpenCore to 0.6.6 and set
MaxBIOSVersion (exclusive for legacy Macs) to
True in config.plist. I strongly recommend updating OpenCore to 0.6.6 before updating macOS to 11.2 for Macs.
Besides, the latest OpenCore menu is now more genuine.
Some artist from China (the mainland region of the People’s Republic of China) communicated with Meow for the last time on 23 January 2020. It is now 24 January 2021, the first anniversary of Day 1 with zero communication with the artist. He (or his possible friend) uploaded a plenty of commissions on Fur Affinity in October 2020, and his friend contacted Meow privately for the issue of zero communication. Unfortunately, the actions did not eliminate the fact that he has been keeping ignoring his customers for one year.
With the terrible behaviours from the Chinese artist and how China did for hiding COVID-19 cases, how can we trust China anymore? Since many other Chinese artists are also arrogant on the internet, Meow hopes that at least all customers should stop commissioning any artwork to any Chinese artist. We do not need a group of people destroying the trust of our society.
macOS may show colour banding on an external display. To solve the issue, we need to follow the steps:
- Download the ZIP package of patch-edid.rb and uncompress it
- Type in ruby in Terminal and drag patch-edid.rb so it will look like ruby /<path>/patch-edid.rb, and then press the return key
- You will find the folder DisplayVendorID-xxxx in the /Users/<your account>/ folder
- Copy the folder to /Library/Displays/Contents/Resources/Overrides/, and you should create the folders by yourself following the same structure first
- Restart your computer
This solution works for recent macOS versions including Big Sur (version 11) and does not require SIP or any security function disabled.
The host of Meow is now completely moved to meow.pro which becomes the only domain for it, following the retirement of Chita.
There have been many tests of image formats earlier before, but this time DSSIM was introduced for the more objective and more scientific comparison between lossy formats including JPEG, WebP and AVIF. Optimisation for 🔞Reconquest at Night was also introduced for reducing colour banding and adding a tremendous shallow depth of field.
Here we have more lossy tests of AVIF and WebP comparing to JPEG or PNG, but with the much smaller resolution and very close file size for testing the real-life usages. By using the <picture> tag, the priority is AVIF, WebP, and JPEG/PNG so all browsers can display.
